Gowrie Oberon Kindergarten is a free 3- and 4-year-old sessional kindergarten in the heart of the Belmont community, co-located with Oberon Primary School.

A seamless pathway to school. Children visit classrooms, use the oval, and join in school celebrations, meeting teachers and building real connections before Prep even begins. Our Buddy Program means every child experiences a school setting prior to starting Prep.
Learning through nature and Country. Nature play across the school grounds fosters curiosity, wellbeing, and connection to place, with sustainability and Caring for Country woven into everyday learning through Aboriginal knowledge and practice.
Deeply rooted in the Belmont community. Our experienced educators are local. They know this community, these families, and what it truly means to belong here.

Hello, my name is Sam, and I am the Kindergarten Manager at Oberon Kindergarten. It is my pleasure to warmly welcome you and your family to our kindergarten community.

Since joining the Belmont community, I have greatly appreciated the strong sense of connection and care that makes this area so special. We are proud to offer a nurturing, close-knit environment where every child is truly known, valued, and supported to grow and learn at their own pace.
