This year the children at Gowrie Clare Court have been honoured to work with Traditional Owners from the Bunurong Land Council Aboriginal Corporation. Through a series of incursions, children have explored Country, learnt about Bunurong culture and stories and grown to understand more about local biodiversity.
The is part of an ongoing project at Clare Court “Retrieving Forward for Shared Futures: On Country Learning with Bunurong Custodians” made possible with a grant from Landcare Australia 2023 Junior Landcare Grants, to build ongoing, respectful and reciprocal relationships with the Bunurong people.
