Course Fees

Gowrie Victoria focuses specifically on delivering Early Childhood Education and Care nationally accredited qualifications. Pricing for learners to undertake these courses is broken into three categories:

  1. Learners who are eligible for Government Subsidised Funding under the Skills First Program (non-concession)
  2. Learners who are eligible for both Government subsidised funding under the Skills First Program and are eligible for concession
  3. Applicants who are not eligible for State and Federal Government funded training are offered a place as full fee paying students.

Please note:

  • The learner tuition fees published are subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment.
  • For eligible individuals, this training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding.
  • Please be aware that accessing your Skills First Program entitlement may impact access to further Government subsidised training.
  • Gowrie Victoria encourages individuals with disabilities to access Government subsidised training. Enrolment approval will be subject to the person’s ability to undertake tasks and the requirements of the course.
You must have a physical presence in Victoria whilst undertaking the qualification and not be enrolled in a school, including government, non-government, independent, Catholic or home school.
You must meet citizenship/residency requirements and be in one of the following categories:
  • Australian Citizen
  • Holder of a permanent visa or;
  • New Zealand Citizen
You must:
  • Only commence a maximum of two Skills First Program funded qualifications in a calendar year.

Not counted when determining if a student meets these limits:

a) transitioning from a superseded program to the current version of the same program;

b) recommencing training in the same program (at either the same or a different provider);

c) enrolling in an Apprenticeship (not Traineeship) after having participated in one of the programs identified as a ‘Pre-Apprenticeship and Pathway Program’ on the Funded Programs Report;

d) participation in ‘22510VIC – Course in Identifying and Responding to Family Violence Risk’; or e) participation in Literacy and Numeracy Support Units.

  • Only commence a maximum of two Skills First subsidised programs at any one time.

Not counted when determining if a student meets this limit:

a) ‘22510VIC – Course in Identifying and Responding to Family Violence Risk’; or

b) Literacy and Numeracy Support Units.

Eligibility Exemptions
  • Asylum Seeker VET program individuals must meet all Skills First Program eligibility criteria except the citizenship/residency requirements.

Enrolment for eligible learners is under the Skills First Program and may impact access to further government subsidised training. For additional information regarding the Skills First Program please contact us.

For enrolment in Certificate III and IV level courses, a concession fee of 20% of the published fees will be charged to learners who are eligible under the Skills First Program prior to the commencement of training, and who hold one of the below current and valid concession cards:

  • Health Care Card issued by the Commonwealth
  • Pensioner Concession Card
  • Veteran’s Gold card
  • An alternative card or concession eligibility approved by the Minister

The Concession also applies to a dependent spouse or a dependent child of a card holder.

No tuition fees will be charged to Skills First Program eligible individuals enrolling into any level qualification who self-identify as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.
