Gowrie has partnered with Early Learning Association Australia (ELAA) on an exciting new project that went live this month.
We are happy to announce that we’ve developed 12 eLearning modules to support the transition to work and work-readiness of new educators. These modules cover a range of pedagogy, personal development and regulatory topics.
These courses are full of real and practical examples, case studies and interactive activities. They demonstrate a lot of the great work we do at Gowrie, the passion and commitment and our willingness to share what we do and learn.
The modules feature Gowrie educators, teachers and leaders, and mainly filmed at Gowrie Broadmeadows Valley, Gowrie Clare Court and Gowrie Docklands Kinder. Modules include:
- Embedding the Child Safe Standards
- Educator wellbeing
- Working in a team
- Relationships with families
- Supporting children with additional needs
- Trauma informed practice
- Professional identity, ethics, and teaching philosophy
- Intentionality in learning environments
- Foundational practice – the arts in practice
- Foundational practice – routines and rituals
- Foundational practice – using digital tech. with children
- Foundational practice – running a group time
The courses are now available on ELAA’s learning management system – you can access the Registration Form and find out more about the Community Hub that ELAA is developing around these modules.
